CHAMBER MUSIC PROGRAM, FESTIVAL CONCERTS
- AMEROPA offers music students as well as professional and amateur musicians the two weeks opportunity of intensive chamber music study, in-house performances and public concerts at interesting venues.
- AMEROPA will provide for all registered students chamber music rehearsals and coachings, master classes, lectures and concerts.
- Participants will be placed in several chamber ensembles. Chamber music groups will be assigned based on audio or video samples or a faculty recommendation. The goal is to have unified chamber music skills and experience within each group.
- Although we motsly focus on the classical chamber ensembles (string quartet, piano trio, wind quintet), different combinations are also supported. The ensembles will include combinations of the following instruments: piano, harp, strings, woodwinds and horn. Vocal students are welcome to be included in chamber ensembles. Pre-formed ensembles are welcome, but not required.
- Performance opportunities will be provided, according to group readiness and program considerations.
- Solo playing is taught in Ameropa solo masterclass, which takes place in Brandýs nad Labem. During the Ameropa Chamber Course, there are no solo lessons possible.
